Taking Care of One Another: An Update 18/03/2020

Covid 19 update

Following yesterday’s advice from the Scottish and UK governments the charity trustees of Triratna Highland Buddhist Community have decided to close the Highland Buddhist Centre to the public with immediate effect until at least 20th April and possibly beyond that date.We will of course update you as more advice is given. Please keep looking at the website.

The Buddha taught that we are deeply interconnected in seen and unseen ways. This virus has affected us all and we as a community can keep in touch and take care of one another in a variety of ways through phone calls, Skype and FaceTime and through emails.

We can keep our practice alive and connect to the wider Buddhist Sangha through the Buddhist centre online https://thebuddhistcentre.com/ and free Buddhist Audio https://www.freebuddhistaudio.com/

We are also exploring ways of connecting online and will keep you informed of developments.

We continue to send our well-wishing and care to all those throughout the world who have been severely affected by the virus and to the front line staff caring for those affected.

May all beings be well.
