Would you like to find out more about Buddhism? Would you like to try meditation in company with others? Here at the Triratna Highlands Buddhist Centre we offer a number of ways for you to engage.
You could try our Lunchtime Meditation sessions which run on Tuesdays (from 15 Jan) and Thursdays (from 17 Jan), 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm. You could call in for a cuppa and a chat at one of our Drop In sessions, also on Tuesdays and Thursdays (starting as above) between 2.00pm and 4.00pm. You could come along to one of our Sangha Night events (Sangha simply means Buddhist community), which run every Thursday (starting 17 Jan), 7pm to 9pm.
For those who want to go deeper, we periodically run a six-week Introduction to Buddhism and Meditation course. The next one starts on 22 January 2019 (Please see Classes/Events for details). And if you want to go deeper still, there is a four-week follow on Buddhism and Meditation Level 2 course.
Whatever your level of interest, you will be most welcome. For full details of what is on or coming up, go to Classes & Events and check under Classes, Drop ins, and Sangha Night
Sangha nights will resume on Thursday 17th January. We will begin the year with meditation and a Dedication ceremony where we can reflect on the year ahead and dedicate our practice for the benefit of all beings.
