Would you like to find out more about Meditation? Or Buddhism? Try one of our Lunchtime Meditation sessions which run on Tuesdays. These are suitable for beginners and those with experience. Or call in for a chat and a cuppa on one of our Open Afternoons, also on Tuesdays. For a taster you could come to a Sangha (Buddhist Community) Night event. These happen on Thursday evenings and include a period of meditation.

PLEASE NOTE: LUNCHTIME MEDITATION, OPEN AFTERNOONS AND SANGHA NIGHTS WILL NOT RUN IN JULY OR THE FIRST WEEK OF AUGUST. THEY WILL RESUME ON 14 AND 16 AUGUST RESPECTIVELY.

We periodically run a six-week Introduction to Buddhism and Meditation course for those who want to gain an overview. For those who have completed that course and want to go deeper, there is the Buddhism and Mediation Level 2 course. Meanwhile, we are delighted to welcome Sagaramati to the Highlands for the Dharma Day festival (28th July). Sagaramati, born in Scotland, was ordained in 1974 and is the founder of the Manchester Buddhist Centre. With a background in academia, he leads study days and seminars at Triratna centres around the world.

Scottish Sangha Weekend – Friday 17th To Sunday 19th August. The theme is ” Dance of the Dakinis” A weekend inspired by the life, teaching and example of Padmasambhava. Booking is through Dhanakosa. A great opportunity to spend the weekend with Dharma practitioners in Scotland.
